Meeting Place Sculpture

The sculpture "Place of Meeting" is situated on Onega Embankment in Pyotrozavodsk. It arrived from the Norwegian town of Mo-i-Rana in the early 2000s and was installed in 2001. The composition symbolizes equality and respect among people and is executed in the colors of Ranheim community - gold and green. Branches of the sculpture represent friendship and meeting of residents from different cities. Visitors can ascend stairs and walk through the composition becoming part of its idea about encounter and mutual understanding.
