Unity Sculpture

The sculpture "Unity" is situated on Onega Embankment in Pyotrozavodsk. It consists of two blue arches with unity fire inside, symbolizing cooperation between Pyotrozavodsk and Joensuu city (Finland). Created by artist Teppo Laurinolli in an abstract style, it was installed to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the capital of Karelia. The composition is part of the park of gifts from sister cities.
