Lenin Square (Circular Square)

Round square in Pyotrozavodsk also known as Lenin Square is the city's central point. It features Republic of Karelia National Museum and architectural ensemble of buildings from former Olonets administration recognized as federal landmarks. From the square starts tourists' acquaintance with Pyotrozavodsk; nearby is located railway station. In the center of the square there burns Eternal Flame in memory of city defenders.
