Kirov Square

Kirov Square in Pyotrozavodsk is situated in the central part of the city. Surrounded by streets and squares, it includes the National Theatre of Karelia and the Museum of Fine Arts. Named after Sergey Kirov. Cultural and memorial events take place here; there is also a monument "City of Military Glory". It is an important public square of the capital of Karelia.
