Charles Gascoigne Monument

Charles Gascoigne Monument is situated on Karl Marx Avenue in Pyotrozavodsk. It was installed due to the industrial history of the city and included in the city's system of monuments related to this theme. Gastone arrived in Pyotrozavodsk in 1786 and became the head of the Olonetskie Mining Works under whose leadership the production of weapons at the Alexandrovsky Plant actively developed. The monument was opened on September 24, 2021.
