Onezhskaya Embankment

Onega Embankment in Petrozavodsk connects Lenin Avenue with Water Station. It features a unique collection of parks with sculptures created by masters from Karelia and sister cities. Every winter there is Hyperborea Festival where ice and snow figures are built. In summer it becomes a place for folk festivities and watching Oneg Regatta. The opening took place on June 25, 1994.
