The Precambrian Geology Museum is located at the Republic of Karelia National Museum, Pyotrozavodsk, Friedrich Engels Street, 5. Visitors learn about the features of mineralogy and ore deposits, see samples of rare minerals from Karelia such as silanite, pink quartzite, shungite, etc. The exhibition includes information on relief and Quaternary sediments, with geological sections presented on the second floor. The museum interior is designed in the style of a school geography classroom.
