Catholic Church of the Dormition of the Theotokos

Krestovozdvizhensky Sobor in Petrozavodsk was built in 1848–1852 under the supervision of Archbishop Venyedikt and consecrated in December 1852 by Archbishop Arkadiy. The architect was Vasily Tukharov. The church is located at Volkhovskaya Street, house 1 and is one of few functioning churches of Soviet times, reopening after a brief closure in 1941.
