Victory Square

Victory Square is the central square of Kaliningrad, previously known as Hanza Platz and Adolf-Hitler Platz. After reconstruction ahead of the city's anniversary they removed Lenin monuments and tribunes. Now it is an important transport hub with Kaliningrad-North railway station nearby. Previously it served as a place for installing statues of political figures but currently it is a spacious area used by locals and tourists.
