Immanuel Kant Monument

The monument to Immanuel Kant was restored in Kaliningrad in 1992 on University Street. It is a copy of the original statue created by German sculptor Christian Daniel Rauch in the 19th century. The first version of the monument was installed in Koenigsberg in 1864 and moved to Paradeplatz in 1885. After World War II, the original disappeared, and the current monument is an exact replica of the lost sculpture.
