Friedrich Schiller Monument

Friedrich Schiller's Monument is located in Kaliningrad on Mira Prospect near the Drama Theatre; it was installed in 1910 and features a bronze figure of the poet in an 18th-century costume, standing 3.75 meters tall. The sculpture was created by Königsberg master Stanislaus Kauber and is a federal cultural heritage site. On the pedestal there are inscriptions with the poet's surname and his years of life. Initially, the monument stood near the opera theater, later it was moved to the garden in front of the drama theatre.
