Catholic Church of the Ascension of Christ (Church of the Cross)

Catholic Church of Exaltation of the Cross, formerly known as Kirche Kreuz, situated on General Pavlov Street in Kaliningrad. The building features an equal-armed Greek cross design and serves as an architectural monument constructed with funds from Alstads Church Community. The cathedral was the seat of Kaliningrad Diocese until the consecration of Christ the Savior Temple in 2006. The first service took place after its opening on May 7, 1933; groundbreaking occurred on June 15, 1930. Despite wartime damage, the church has been relatively well-preserved.
