Christ's Birth Cathedral (Ponarz Church)

The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Kaliningrad, located on Kievskaya Street, was formerly the neo-gothic Ponaurt church. The building is constructed from burnt brick and features an asymmetrical composition. flysplays divide the facades, windows are adorned with lacy ornaments. The bell tower is offset relative to the longitudinal axis of the structure. After transferring the church, the space under the embolos was filled with bricks, creating side rooms. The interior includes a new permanent iconostasis and a single-sided embolos previously separated by an annex.
