Храм Покрова Пресвятой Богородицы (кирха Розенау)

The Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, previously known as Rosenau Kirche, is situated at Klavy Nazaryova Street, 24 in Kaliningrad. Built in 1914, it was transferred to the Russian Orthodox Church in 1990 and consecrated in 1992. Three white doors of the portal symbolize the Holy Trinity while its exterior is painted red and green representing love and hope. Inside there remain elements recalling the Lutheran past of the building. A document with a request to descendants was hidden by builders inside the spire during construction. Despite wartime actions, the structure miraculously survived until today.
