Kaliningrad Regional Historical and Art Museum was opened in 1946 and is the oldest cultural institution in the region. Its exhibits cover centuries-old history of the area, from the era of ancient Prussians to contemporary events. The museum regularly hosts exhibitions of young artists, displays archaeological finds, military paraphernalia and household items from various epochs. The collection also includes products from Kaliningrad's first post-war enterprises. The museum has branches including "Bunker" and Fort #5.
