Brandenburg Gate

Kaliningrad Brandenburg Gates are situated on Bagration Street. Built in 1755, they are the sole surviving historical entrance to the city controlling access to the Brandenburg Castle. The building features cross-shaped sandstone colors, coats of arms and portrait medallions. Inside there are exhibits about Königsberg marzipan. After restoration from 2014 to 2015, the gates have been under state protection since 1960. Public transport passes through them.
