Nature of Caspian Museum

The "Caspian Nature" Museum in Derbent was opened in 1993 and is an important part of the city's natural science culture. Visitors can explore four exhibitions dedicated to different climatic zones of Southern Dagestan. Special attention is given to rare animal and bird species at risk of extinction. The museum also showcases the rich flora and fauna of the region, deepening understanding of its unique natural diversity.
