Museum of Culture and Ancient Life of Derbent

The Museum of Culture and Ancient Life of Derbent is located in an old ladies' bathhouse from the XIX century at: Derbent city, 7 Magal street. The original interior with water reservoirs, lamps and a heater for floor warming has been preserved here. The exhibition includes ancient clothing, carpets, dishes, musical instruments, jewelry and household items. A unique feature of the building are three underground rooms with natural lighting through openings in domes.
