The monument to the first Komsomol builders of Magnitka is located in V.I. Chapaev Square, Magnitogorsk. Opened in 1966, the pedestal is made of refractory magnesite, 6.5 meters high. A sculpture made of wrought aluminum, 3 meters high, was installed using funds collected by city youth during субботники. On a marble plate there is an engraved inscription: "To the first Komsomol builders of Magnitka from the Komsomol members of the 60s." The plaque was laid in 1958 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Komsomol.
