Monument "Tyt frontu"

The monument "Tyl -- Frontu" is situated in the park next to the Eternal Flame in Magnitogorsk, standing atop an 18-meter embankment overlooking the River Ural. It is a federal-level cultural heritage site unveiled to mark the city's 50th anniversary in 1979. Bronze sculptures depicting a worker and a soldier wielding a sword, each 15 meters tall, symbolize the contributions of Magnitogorscan's inhabitants toward victory. Nearby are plaques listing the names of departed city residents. It constitutes the initial segment of the renowned triptych culminating with memorials such as "Motherland Mother" in Volgograd and "Warrior-Liberator" in Berlin.
