Magnitogorsk Academic Drama Theatre named after A.S. Pushkin

Magnitogorsk Academic Drama Theatre named after A.S. Pushkin was founded in 1931 as TRAM (Theatre of Young Workers). In 1967 it moved to its current building on Lenina Avenue. The theatre is known for its play "Gроза", which won the Golden Mask award. Its repertoire includes classical and contemporary Russian and foreign dramas. Among notable artists who performed there are Leonid Bronsov and Sergey Puskepalis. The theater initiated the social project "Theatralny Gorod" and is among ten best provincial theaters in Russia.
