Magnitogorsk Academic Drama Theatre named after A.S. Pushkin

Magnitogorsk Academic Drama Theatre named after A.S. Pushkin was founded in 1931 as TRAM (Theatre of Young Workers). In 1967 it moved to its current building on Lenin Avenue. The theatre is known for its production "Storm," which won the Golden Mask award. Its repertoire features classic and contemporary Russian and international dramas. Notable performers associated with the stage include Leonid Brezhnev and Sergei Pushkepalis. The theater launched the social initiative "Theatrical City" and ranks among the top ten provincial theaters in Russia.
