Kirov Street (Kirova, Chelyabinsk Arbat)

Kirova Street, also known as Kirovka, is a popular pedestrian zone in Chelyabinsk. It features cafes, shops and boutiques. Along its entire length there are bronze sculptures including images of a firefighter, postman, veteran and shoeshine boy. A tour of the street takes about an hour. This is one of the oldest places in the city previously called Ufimskaya. Since 1934 it has been named after Sergey Mironovich Kirov. It connects Revolution Square with historical districts along the Miass River.
