Manneken Theatre

The Maneken Theatre in Chelyabinsk is situated on Kirov Street, 116. Established as a student theater of variety miniatures at Chelyabinsk Polytechnic Institute in 1966, it has borne its present name ever since. With more than three decades of history and the honored title of folk theater, Maneken was acknowledged as a prominent youth theatrical group in the 1970s. In 1992, the theater gained the status of a municipal cultural organization.
