Orlyonok Monument

The monument "Orlyok" is situated on Alma Field in Chelyabinsk. It is a bronze figure about 4 meters high created by Lev Nikolaevich Golovnitsky and installed by architect Evgeniy Viktorovich Alexandrov. The sculpture grew out of an earlier stand-alone sculpture and forms part of the historical-memorial ensemble of Alma Field, becoming one of the city's symbols. Initially, the artwork was exhibited at republican and all-union exhibitions.
