Chelyabinsk, Kommuny St, Slavy Blvd

It honors the soldiers and commanders of the 63rd Chelyabinsk Volunteer Tank Brigade who received orders from South Ural residents on May 9th, 1943. The sculpture was created by Lev Golovnitsky and architect Evgeniy Alexandrov. A volunteer figure standing 5.5 meters tall is positioned atop a tank turret with an open hatch.
