City Garden named after A.S. Pushkin

Pushkin City Park in Chelyabinsk is one of the oldest parks in the region, founded in the early 20th century. It features the first birch grove planted in 1908. In summer visitors can ride amusement rides, visit an auto track and the ferris wheel, while in winter the park becomes a city ice arena. For families with children there are a fairy tale house and a contact zoo. Regular cultural events include jazz concerts on Wednesdays and dance evenings on Thursdays. Since 1937 the park has been named after the great Russian poet Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin.
