Chelyabinsk Zoo

Chelyabinsk Zoo is located in the city center near Gagarin Park on a 30-hectare site. Founded in 1992, it has over 440 animals of 133 species including big cats, polar and Himalayan bears, primates, kangaroos and various bird collections. There is also an aquarium and insectarium. For visitors there are teen quests and baby animal contact zoo. On the zoo's website you can find schedules for feeding large carnivores.
