Chelyabinsk State Drama Youth Theatre

Chelyabinsk State Drama Youth Theatre is situated at Kirova Street, 116. Built in 1903, it is an example of neoclassicism and included in the repertoire of regional neoclassical architecture theaters. Initially named as Care Committee and Popular Sobriety Theater, later transformed into TYuZ, since 2011 it's called Youth Theatre. Plays are performed for both young audiences and adults. In 1982, the building was transferred to the theater's management from the people's house designed by Perm architect Rudolf Karvovsky.
