Chelyabinsk State Academic Drama Theatre named after Naum Orlov

Chelyabinsk State Academic Drama Theatre named after Naum Orlov is located at Revolution Square, 6. Founded in 1921 under the name Samuil Tsvylina, since 1982 it has been housed in its own building. The theater is known for productions of works by Bulgakov, Dostoevsky, Shakespeare, Pushkin and other classical plays. Since 1986 it has had academic status. Its first professional performance was the play "The Price of Life" by Vladimir Nemirovich-Danchenko.
