Chelyabinsk State Academic Drama Theatre named after Naum Orlov is the largest theatrical center of Southern Ural founded in 1921. Located at Revolution Square, 6 in Chelyabinsk, it bears the name of outstanding theater director Naum Orlov who headed it for many decades. The theatre's building with a capacity of 1200 people was previously called by the name of Tsvilling for over eighty years but later renamed in honor of its famous director. Various dramatic performances are regularly staged here including comedies, tragedies and children's shows.
