Northern Sea Museum

The Northern Sea Museum is situated in Arkhangelsk on North Dvina River Embankment, 80. Established in the 1970s as an enterprise museum of shipping, since 1993 it has been a state marine historical technical-professional museum. Exhibition includes thematic sections about the era of sailing ships from the 11th century to mid-19th century. The museum's collection comprises over 21,000 exhibits. In the 2000s, the building and adjacent piers underwent reconstruction.
