Pyotr I Monument

The monument to Pyotr I is located in Arkhangelsk on the banks of the Northern Dvina, in Pyotrovsky Park. It was opened in 1914 and is a smaller copy of the famous sculpture by Mark Antokolsky. This monument has federal significance as an example of monumental art and is depicted on Russian banknotes worth 500 rubles.
