Arkhangelsk Museum of Fine Arts

Arkhangelsk Museum of Fine Arts is located at V.I. Lenin Square, 2. Founded in 1960, it is part of State Museum Association "Artistic Culture of Northern Russia". The museum's permanent exhibition features Old Russian art, monuments of Christian culture and folk art from Northern Russia. The collection includes works of artistic metal and ceramics, costumes, embroideries, weaving, carved items and wood paintings. The museum building is an architectural monument of the 18th to 19th centuries.
