Vitebsk Zoo

Vitebsk Zoo is located on Yanka Kupala Street. It was founded in 1992 on the site of the former Animal Theatre and Lenin Park. Animals originally arrived from Leningrad Zoo during the war. Currently, the zoo is divided into a city part and a prospective area in Bilevo. Its main task is cultural enlightenment of residents.
