Lenin Square Vitebsk

Lenin Square in Vitebsk is the central part of the city ensemble. Here there is a complex of the regional philharmonic hall built in 1957. Previously it was called Smolenskaya and served as a market until 1918. In October 1956 a Lenin monument was installed on the square. On its western side it borders with Partisan Glory Park named after Minay Shmyrev. The philharmonic building adjoins Lenina Street and intersects with Uritskogo Street.
