Frunze Park Vitebsk

Frunze Park occupies an area of about 15 hectares in the historical center of Vitebsk. It is situated on the banks of the Vitba River and Duna stream, where walking bridges have been constructed. More than 700 trees and shrubs grow in the park. Previously, there was an Archiepiscopal Garden near the residence of the bishop of Vitebsk. After the October Revolution, the park became accessible to all city residents and received its name in honor of M.I. Frunze in 1926. In Soviet times, amusement rides operated within it.
