Fedor Makhno Monument

The monument to Fyodor Makhno is located on Suvorov Street in Vitebsk. The sculpture was created by local artist Ivan Kazak in life-size. Makhno, born in the Vitebsk province, is known for his height—he is considered one of the tallest people in history. The opening of the memorial took place on June 20, 2018, marking the 140th anniversary of his birth.
