Vitebsk Art School History Museum

The Museum of the History of Vitebsk Art School is located at Mark Shagal Street, 5a. It is dedicated to the Vitebsk period of Russian avant-garde and situated in an historical building constructed in 1913 for banker Israel Wishnya. The school operated here from 1918 to 1923, with teachers including Kazimir Malevich. The building was reconstructed while preserving the layout of 1923. The museum opened in February 2018.
