Belarusian Puppet Theatre "Lyalka"

Belarusian Theatre "Lyalka" is situated at Pushkin Street, 2 in Vitebsk. Established in 1985, the building is an architectural monument from late 19th to early 20th century. The theatre was awarded the title of Honored Collective of Belarus in 2000 and is known for its five Grand Prizes at international festivals. Its repertoire includes performances suitable for audiences of all ages. In the lobby there is a museum of dolls and stage elements. The troupe separated from the puppet company attached to Yakub Kolas Theatre in 1990.
