Mark Chagall Art Center

The Mark Chagall Art Center is located at Putna Street, 2 in Vitebsk. It features a permanent exhibition of graphic works by the artist, including a series of illustrations for the poem by N.V. Gogol "Dead Souls". The center also has a specialized library on contemporary art and was founded in 1992 thanks to collector Heinrich Hendel Mandel. Among the exhibits there are works from the cycle "12 Tribes of Israel" (1960).
