Tashkent Planetarium

The Tashkent Planetarium opened in 1963 and moved to its new location in 2003. Currently, its modern demonstration hall accommodates up to 80 people and offers programs in Uzbek, Russian, and English languages. Inside there are exhibits featuring models of the solar system, telescopes, and an area dedicated to astronauts. Previously, in the old building, celestial phenomena were shown on an eight-meter diameter screen. The planetarium is also known for being named after astronomer Mirzo Ulugbek during the Soviet era.
