Zaraatsai Gorge

Zarafshon Gorge is located in Kugitang Mountains near Termez. It is an archaeological site known for its drawings created during the mesolithic and neolithic periods, approximately from XII to V millennia BC. In 1939, rock paintings made with red ochre were discovered here. Zarautsay is a significant cultural heritage site of Surkhondarya region and included in the tour route dedicated to ancient regional culture.
