Abu Ishaq Tirmitchi Mausoleum

Abu Ishak al-Tirmidhi Mausoleum is located in Sherobod District of Surkhondarya Region near Termez city. It is an architectural complex consisting of burial chamber, mosque-hanaka and pilgrimage facilities. The mausoleum is associated with the name of famous hadith scholar Abu Ishaq Muhammad ibn Ishaq al-Tirmidhi born in Termez. Dating back to XI-XII centuries, it is a significant monument of Islamic culture in the region.
