Jarkurgansky Minaret

Jarkurgansky Minaret in Termez is an architectural monument of the 11th century located in Surkhondarya region. Its lower part, preserved to this day, reaches about 21 meters high. The minaret is decorated with 16 closed half-columns and characteristic brickwork executed in the traditions of Islamic architecture of that time. It is an important regional monument of medieval architecture of Maveranahr and included in city tour routes. The building is associated with the name of master Ali ibn Muhammad from Serahs who built it between 1108 and 1109 years.
