Hovhannis Winery in Samarkand

Khovrenko Winery in Samarkand - one of the oldest enterprises in the region founded in late 19th century by entrepreneur Dmitry Filatov. The winery gained particular fame for its wine "Biishy" which was awarded a gold medal at the Paris exhibition. Today they continue to produce high-quality wines and spirits utilizing traditions and experience from previous years. The museum of wine history allows visitors to learn about the rich development history of local viticulture.
