Conigil Tourist Village

Tourist village Konigil is situated near Samarkand about 13 km away from the city. It features a unique workshop for making traditional Samarqand paper from mulberry bark. Visitors can observe hand processing of raw materials and learn about other local crafts. The village is surrounded by Siab River and green plantations where there are craft workshops and areas to explore regional culture.
