Imam Bukhari Memorial Complex

The Bukhari Imam Memorial Complex is located in Hartang village, Samarkand region. It was built in 1997-1998 to commemorate the anniversary of the famous Islamic scholar Imam Muhammad ibn Ismail al-Bukhari. In 2025, the complex significantly expanded by adding a new mosque and infrastructure. There are mausoleums, a mosque, iwanas, library and spiritual spaces making it one of the significant Islamic shrines in the region.
