Khodja Doniyor Mausoleum

The Mausoleum of Khodja Doniyor in Samarkand is revered by representatives of various religions and serves as an important pilgrimage site. Located near the Syab River, close to ancient Afrasiab ruins. Inside the mausoleum lie the remains of prophet Daniyar brought here by Amir Timur. The complex has been reconstructed since the early 20th century. Legends connect the arrival of relics with Timur himself. Nearby is a sacred spring.
