Sadriddin-Aini-Museum

Sadriddin Ayni's House-Museum is situated on Registan Street in Samarkand. It was opened on May 19, 1967 following a decision by Uzbekistan's government dated June 16, 1964. There is his first working office where he worked on pieces like "Odina", "Dokhunda" and "Raby". Exhibits include Ayni's traditional sandal and ganch bust made by sculptor Khakimkhodja Husniddinkhodzhaev. Separately showcased is the Bukharan period of the writer's life and studies.
