Chorsu (Samarkand)

Chorsu — historical trading dome in Samarkand situated near Sherdor madrasa and Registan square. After restoration in 2005 it became a museum and art gallery. The building stands out with its central dome and smaller domes above entrances. Today it operates as National Art Gallery continuing the tradition of trade at an important medieval city hub.
