Dongara Pass

Tash-Darvaza, or South Gates, is one of the historical entrances to the fortified part of Khiva city — Ichan-Kala. This important defensive structure served as protection for the city's residents since ancient times. Today, Tash-Darvaza remains a symbol of entry into the ancient city and attracts tourists with its architecture and historical significance.
